Florida Villa Search System

Are you searching for a Florida villa to rent? The search system has been designed to be as user friendly as possible. If you do not want to perform a search and you wish to simply view a list of all the florida villas within this site, click on "view all villas" and you will be presented with a list of all the villas advertised here. You can then sort these by Number of bedrooms, Bathrooms, Price, Villa community and also put all the gated communities together. There are many other features of the search system which are explained below.

Searching for a Florida villa

So you have decided to go to the wonderful sunshine state of Florida - what next? You have probably looked at hotels and other options and then found out about florida villas, you have now made the right choice! So the next stage is finding that perfect florida villa for you and your family. Everyone is different and has different needs and ideas of what they want for their holiday in Florida. We here have put together different search options for users, here we explain each search type and also the benefits of creating your own profile which is free of charge! With your own profile you can save florida villas to your villa favourites list (up to 100) and also you can save your villa search results!

Menu: View all villas

On the left hand menu the top option is to view all villas. This will take you to a page to view all florida villas on this site, it will show 100 per page. You can then sort this in price order, number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, community (for example you need more than 1 villa so it is useful to list by community) and gated or not. The first click will put the results in ascending order and a second click puts them in descending order.

The Florida villa search option will then take you to lots of different search options. This works in the way of any regular search system. The more options you leave blank, the more wide your search results will be and the more options you are given on the results. You can refine the search as much as you want even down to show only florida villas with an ice maker!
If your search results bring too few options you can refine the search by clicking on "refine search". Generally you will know what your budget is so you can start by putting a minimum and maximum price and use the other options as needed, or you can leave them all blank but that would show the same screen as "view all villas".
The difference though is that on the florida villa pages you will have a section of buttons at the top which will allow you to go to the next listing within your search, or the last, back, to the first or back to the search results. This is useful because each time you want to look at another villa on your search results you just need to press next at the top instead of having to go back to the list and remember which name you looked at last!

Example Search: You are looking for a florida villa with a maximum price of £575 per week within a gated community and a minimum of 3 bedrooms. Just choose those options and click submit query, you will then be told at the top how many search results you have and a list of options will be presented. If you click on the first option on your list you will be given a "next" button at the top of the page so you can view the next in your search once you have read through each one. You can submit an enquiry by filling in the form at the bottom of each listing. Note: Searching the number of bedrooms on this option will search all properties, such as a condo or townhome so if you want to only look at florida villas or only townhomes, use the advanced search option below. At the bottom of each listing page you are given the option to save that villa / townhome / condo to your favourites list, which you can then view later on by logging in.

This has all of the options as above but with the added option to click which property classes you want to to search within. This can be a florida villa, florida condo or florida townhome. For example you know you only need a 4 bedroom florida villa, but you might want to check on a 5 bedroom florida villa just to compare the costs as you may get a similar price for more space.

Example Search: You could click on 4 bedroom florida villa and 5 bedroom villa and then click on search listings (note if you click on view listings it will show you all 4 bedroom and 5 bedroom florida villas). You could then click on Yes for gated community and it will then show you all gated 4 bedroom and 5 bedroom villas which are situated within a gated community, the more options you tick the less results you will see.

Saving a search or adding a villa to your favourites list

For each search you perform, you are given the option to save it. Currently this option is only available to registered users which you can register on the homepage by clicking create account or by clicking on "customer signup" within the search menu. Registration takes around 20 seconds and you are sent an email of your details for your records. Registration is free. Your email address is not used for any marketing or any form of communication other than the emails that you request such as an email when a new villa is added.

To save a search, perform a search using the search options and you can save the search by clicking on "save this search" at the top of the search results page or by clicking the save icon when you are viewing a listing. The next screen will ask you to put a name for the search and also you can ask to have an email notification when a new florida villa / condo / townhome is added to your search criteria. To come back to the search later on, you just need to click on "view saved searches" or the "view my profile" button at the top of every page within the search system. You can either click on the search name to view your search if you want to view it again, or you can delete the search if you no longer require it.

Favourites list - Adding a florida villa / townhome / condo to your favourite list could not be easier. When you are viewing a florida villa / condo / townhome all you need to do is scroll to the bottom of the listing and there is a link to add the property to your favourites list. Once that is clicked on you are taken to the top of the listing page and a message "The listing has been added to your favorites list" appears. To view your favourites just click on "My Favourites" on the left within the search menu. You are then taken to a list of all your favourite villa's which you can then go in and view again, get the contact details or submit an enquiry form.

Availability Calendar

Most listings will have an availability calendar on the listings page. If you know roughly the dates you wish to travel, check the dates are available before going further, as if the villa is booked you can save your time and the time of the owner by checking. Generally the calendars are updated each day so the availability is a live system.

Sending an Enquiry to the owner and booking

Once you have viewed a florida villa / condo / townhome and you have decided to book it, all you need to do is send an enquiry. You could even just telephone the florida villa owner using their contact details at the top of the listing. At the top of each listing is a box with the owner name, telephone, mobile number and web address, along with villa name and reference number. If you call this villa owner please quote the villa name and reference number when calling. Sometimes the rates on the listing page can not include any special offers or promotions so it is always best to send an enquiry for a final price. Each price you are given will be the final price including tax and with nothing to add on top - crystal clear.
If you know your travel dates, as above check on the listing page to see if your travel dates are available and simply fill in the enquiry form with your details and click submit. You can put your telephone number in as an optional field if you require a telephone call. Please enter a time which is best to call and which country you are in (as you need to be aware of timezones). Your email address, name and telephone number is not seen by us and is sent directly to the florida villa owner with no slow filtering systems. You can expect a reply within the same day but we do allow up to 48 hours for a response because owners could be away from their office / home or actually on holiday in the villa themselves.

You can then expect a very professional but personal service from each owner. Remember this is their pride and joy which they have dreamed about, so you will find they are very passionate about Florida and Orlando. So feel free to ask as many questions you want to ask, this is where the benefit of booking a private villa really comes through because they know the property right down to the last detail, no travel agent can say that no matter how many times they have stayed at a hotel / resort! Most owners also now accept credit cards so your money is always fully protected via the credit card protection scheme which all credit cards have. You will also be given a lot of different payment methods such as cheque, bank transfer and bank deposit, some offer payment methods both in Euro, Pound sterling, Canadian Dollar and US Dollar.

Coming Soon - Send enquiry to all owners on your favourites list!

You can add up to 100 properties on your favourites list, which is more than enough to enquire about and keep for future reference. A system is being worked on to allow you to send an enquiry to all owners which are on your favourites list, this will save you time by only having to fill in one enquiry form! Using the dates you send, the owners who are available will reply and give you up to date prices and offers.

Privacy

Your email address, name and telephone number is not used for any purposes other than to contact you for a price as requested. You will not be sent any marketing emails by us or by villa owners. You may build up a friendship with the owner and exchange many emails and telephone calls in the years to come, you can be sure though that if your email address and personal information is not needed anymore, it will be deleted and not used again. This ensures that you are not sent lots of junk mail and spam emails, many companies use your enquiry as an excuse to bombard you with emails - we will never do that. This site is purely here for informational purposes and to put guests in touch with owners of some of the best florida villas, condos and towhomes.
